Training is one of the goals of Rustichella d’Abruzzo, always in front to export the Abruzzo wine & food culture in 70 countries around the world. In the wake of the PrimoGrano Tour 2017 (a human and culinary experience into the Rustichella d’Abruzzo land to celebrate the annual harvest of 100% Abruzzo grown wheat) we are ready to celebrate (from next October 19th to 21th) another great training and funny days with the Ambassador Tour Event, a moment where our friends and customers can learn about Abruzzo land (history and culture), Rustichella d’Abruzzo selling point and brand image, and all the secrets of a top cooking of Rustichella products in the gourmet Restaurants. And last but not least, a workshop about Italian ancient grains, cooking demo, tasty lunches and dinners and the visit to the Rustichella d’Abruzzo pasta factory.
The guests of this event will be our friends of Manicaretti Italian Food Importers, who have been memorable RdA importers in the US since 1991, when our company was the first brand to introduce the Farro pasta in the American market, gaining unexpectedly such a massive success that even The New York Times reported this great piece of news.
Here is RdA President Gianluigi Peduzzi’s memory about one of his first business trips to America: “Within the internationalization of Rustichella d’Abruzzo company (started in 1989), the United States of America accounted the most important market. Already in 1989, I made a business trip to New York City and Toronto (Canada), with the personal goal to look closely the market in North America, because, at that time, the artisan pasta was not present in the US. I think that this strong relationship depends on two key factors: shared projects works and respect of the roles for producers and distributors. And I can say without arrogance that we were the firsts to create “THE MARKET” in America for many gourmet roducts.“
