The third edition of the International Awards dedicated to best quality and innovative Italian food will take place on October 8th during Anuga Koelnmesse 2017 in Cologne (Germany), the most important trade fair for agribusiness in the world with over 1000 italian exhibitors, Rustichella d’Abruzzo included. A new international date, after the last edition at Summer Fancy Food in New York City some months ago, to celebrate the most innovative quality products made in Italy. Organized by ItalianFood.net – the international, integrated B2B project by Food Publishing Group, the third worldwide edition of the Italian Food Awards will be voted in September by a jury comprising buyers, retailers, importers and distributors from the Italianfood.net network, any one of which will be enabled to vote. The awards have been created to reward the most creative and versatile food products that better respond to growing demand for certified quality, natural ingredients, and taste. The Italian Food Awards will help retail and foodservice operators discover the storytelling and the value of authentic Italian products.

Moreover, three top awards will go to three special categories: packaging, innovation and sustainability. Rustichella d’Abruzzo has received the nomination for Whole Wheat organic Farro abruzzese Cous Cous, winner of 2017 sofi Awards “Gold” e “Best New Product”, and Kiwi Paccherini (100% italian durum wheat semolina e 35% di fresh kiwi puree), a great solution for Chefs and Restaurants who want create super gourmet and fashion recipes, keeping high the artisanal quality.
