OPEN NIGHT 2017 with Rustichella d'Abruzzo at "F. DE CECCO" Catering Institute in Pescara

IPSSAR F. DE CECCOOPEN NIGHT is the annual educational meeting proposed by the famous Istituto Professionale di Stato Servizi per l'Enogastronomia e l'Ospitalità Alberghiera (IPSSAR) "F. DE CECCO" (IPSSAR Catering Institute) in Pescara, which offers to the junior high school the possibility to come in contact with the restaurant industry. Rustichella d'Abruzzo was one of the partner of this event in occasion of the cooking show happened on 2017 January, 28. Mrs. Alessandra Di Pietro, Head of Department, said: "Our Catering Institute is always in front to promote the value of the traditional abruzzese cooking in the restaurant industry; for this reason, OPEN NIGHT event is very important for us in order to present our educational proposal to the young students who want to learn all the cooking secrets. OPEN NIGHT is composed by 2 modules: science of nutrition (seminars) and itinerary of taste (show cooking in our labs). One of the most important thing is the relationship with the trade associations, offering all the best professionalism in the restaurant industry to our students: cooking labs, seminars, stage and partnerships with the restaurant experts, represent the added value to our educational proposal."

Lady Chef Abruzzo e le Sagne a pezzi PrimoGrano

From theory to practice.. it's a short step. Sodalizio Lady Chef Abruzzo, a non-profit association of Federazione Italiana Cuochi (Italian Chefs Federation) coordinated by Chef Enza Liberati (Culinary Director of "F. DE CECCO" Catering Institute in Pescara), was the official brigade the cuisine: "Our team - Chef Liberati said - promote the Abruzzo territory and its local products, supporting causes of social responsibility. We are 60 Lady Chef who work in Abruzzo, improving with passion and innovation the use of local products, and helping to tell the history of abruzzese cooking all around the world. Our mission is to preserve integrity and high quality of local products."
